Return to Church With Confidence

As Ontario moves towards Stage 2 of re-opening, the church has also been permitted to open its doors! We praise God for this!  Restoration House Hamilton (RHH) has updated guidelines that prioritize your safety and that align with the government’s suggested guidelines for a phased re-opening. As we navigate our new normal, i.e, the current state we are in post-COVID, we encourage you to embrace the changes and work with us to navigate this season. Bearing this in mind, we have broken this article down into (1) actions the church is taking to ensure your safety, and (2) actions required of YOU to ensure our collective safety.

What We Are Doing

  1. Enforcing the requirement of registration to attend church services

  2. Front desk check-in questions upon arrival to aid contact tracing

  3. Deep cleaning of shared areas and surfaces between services

  4. Retrained All Workers and Volunteers

  5. Significantly Adjusted Seating to promote Physical distancing

  6. Apple of God’s Eye children’s church stays closed till further notice.

  7. Physical Distancing Signs and Stickers have been posted

  8. Decreased length of singing time, designated microphones per user, and the use of microphone covers.

  9. Personal Protective Equipment (disposable masks and gloves) are provided for volunteers

  10. Hand Sanitizer stations have been installed at the Entry Point and Exit points.  Hand sanitizing required upon entry and exit.

  11. Still not ready to join us in person? Online services will continue to hold.

What We Need From You

  1. Please register for all members in your family before attending in-person services and check in at the front desk upon arrival.

  2. Family members are required to please sit together. Parents, please plan to keep young children with you at all times.

  3. Handshaking and hugging are strongly discouraged.

  4. Please use the front doors for entry and the side doors(near the choir) for exit

  5. In accordance with the law, face masks are required if attending service.

  6. Please choose ONLINE giving where possible.

  7. Please be patient with us as we navigate this new season.

There are exemptions for children under the age of 2 and individuals unable to wear a mask for medical reasons.

During this season, we encourage you to prioritize safety and to choose faith over fear.  It is an unprecedented time in history, if you are feeling mentally drained,  you are not alone. During this pandemic, Pastor Dr Olayinka Dada has been recording daily 2 minute videos to encourage you everyday! Start with this highly encouraging  spiritual coping kit or shuffle this playlist over 100 episodes of Divine Daily Prescription (DDRx) to encourage yourself in the Lord!

We love you, miss you and we look  forward to having you back in-church in-person!
